The major problem Louis is that YOU HAVE NOT ADDRESSED THE QUESTION!!! which is: "Explain how Tarantino establishes thriller genre conventions in the title sequence. Choose a minimum of 5 aspects of mise-en-scene".
You need to use your initiative and reference page 6 of your yellow coursework booklet which offers you definitions of a thriller film, in other words generic conventions with pages 10 and 11 offering visual examples.
Your analysis indicates satisfactory understanding of some elements of film language (i.e. costume and lighting) but minimal understanding of genre because you haven't answered the question.
I suggest :
1) Always make sure you are answering the question asked on the power point.
2) Reference your coursework booklet and engage in some independent research in order to make convincing inter textual references. Email me if you are unsure.
By the way you express yourself succinctly and proficiently use media terminology but Louis you could add to this power point ad address the question by adding a slide. Then your mark would considerably improve.
